English Bulldog Sir Charles Beeferoni becomes wholesome internet sensation during slow virtual walks with 78-year-old owner, 0.2 miles in 30 minutes

There's nothing better than a wholesome story to lift our spirits when we're feeling low. Every once in a while, the internet bestows us with a story so adorable, so heart-meltingly wholesome, that we collectively forget all our problems for a solid 60 seconds. Sir Charles Beeferoni is the chunkiest, slowest, most determined English Bulldog on TikTok, and his 78-year-old human, Mr. Harold — a retired postman who, ironically, now gets his daily steps in at a reticent pace. You may think that TikTokers are all about young people showing off, but stories like these pop off as well! People actually tune in to the live stream of this duo's virtual walk, even as slow as it is. A whopping 0.2 miles in 30 minutes. 

English Bulldogs are known for their slow pace, and this is extra slow due to Beeferoni's age. The magic lies in their pure, unhurried companionship. Sir Charles waddles, snorts, pauses dramatically, flops mid-sidewalk, and refuses to continue until Harold offers either a treat, a pep talk, or a reminder to appreciate the little things in life. People are commenting all sorts of things, praising the pair for their commitment to each other, to the walk, and to sharing their story with the world.
